Three Businesses Built. Three Businesses Dissolved.
Jesse didn't set out to build Niche in Control on his first try, or his second, or his third. This is his fourth business. In every one before it, Jesse was the engine. If he didn't work, nothing happened.

As those businesses became more successful, he found himself trapped: working 60 and 80-hour weeks, losing the freedom he got into entrepreneurship to create in the first place.

​​​​​​​The businesses felt like they were taking more than they gave. So he dissolved them. Not because they failed, but because they had taken over his life.
The Corporate Education That Changed Everything
After three dissolved businesses, Jesse went to work for a $4 billion global corporation. The VP of HR gave him three months of projects. He finished in three weeks. Then she gave him what she called an impossible project: remove single points of failure across the entire business.

That five-year journey taught Jesse how to build systems that made people replaceable without customers being impacted. When that business unit sold for $180 million, Jesse realized the skill set he had just built was exactly what agency owners needed.
How Niche in Control Got Its Name and Its Start
The name "Niche in Control" came from a drive to Dairy Queen in 2019. Jesse and his wife Kristina had their newborn son in the back seat trying to get him to sleep when Jesse misheard something Kristina said as "Niche in Control." She had said "Mission Control." He knew immediately that was it.

​​​​​​​The business launched a year later, the same week Oregon wildfires forced his family to evacuate and his corporate job ended. He closed his first client anyway. By mid-2021, he closed $35,000 in a single month. Kristina left corporate. They never looked back.
The Pattern That Keeps Showing Up
Since founding NiC in 2019 and beginning work with agencies in 2020, Jesse has worked with over 500 marketing agencies.

And the pattern he keeps seeing is the same one: the founders aren't lazy. They aren't inexperienced. They're carrying too much. The agency was designed around them, and no amount of effort, tools, or hiring will fix that until the structure changes.

That insight is what powers everything Niche in Control does today.

The Mission Is Bigger Than the Business

In early 2022, Kristina asked Jesse a question he could not dodge: "Why are you so miserable?" His answer was immediate: "I did it again. I created another job for myself."

That conversation changed everything. He hired his brother Jeremy as operations manager, shifted from 1-on-1 coaching to scalable group programs, and applied the Leverage for Growth method to his own business. He was no longer just telling clients what to do. He was doing it himself.

Around the same time, Jesse completed a Soul Purpose Intensive — a 40-hour workshop that produced one clear statement: "I am a divine creator on a lifelong pursuit of growth, expansion, and impact through building businesses and empowering people."

How the Leverage for Growth® Method Was BORN

 Jesse's first agency client was a digital marketing agency owner. By applying the systems thinking he learned in corporate, they reverse-engineered what was keeping the founder stuck and redesigned the business around leverage instead of effort. The result became the foundation of what is now the Leverage for Growth method.

Through working with over 500 agencies since 2020, Jesse discovered something that confirmed the pattern: agencies got the best results because Niche in Control provides the left brain to their right brain. Agency owners are creatives who understand tactics. What they need is someone who can see the root cause of why they are stuck and build the systems, operations, and structure to fix it.
